作为 Desert X 国际当代艺术展的一部分，在加利福尼亚沙漠中展出19个新建的装置。本次第二届展览于2019年2月9日至4月21日举行，免费向公众开放，旨在“通过现今最知名的国际当代艺术家的创作，在19个场地建设特色装置并演出，来激活沙漠景观” 。

本次的联合策展人Amanda Hunt和Matthew Schum，希望通过此次展览来探讨场地特异性、后工业艺术建构以及其具有的互动可能性。 2019年的展览包括电影项目和“流程驱动型”（process-driven）作品，横跨Coachella山谷50英里，并进入到墨西哥境内。
